Birth debrief

If you're struggling to process or come to terms with your birth or have unanswered questions about events that occurred, sharing your experience in a supportive environment with someone who understands the maternity care system very well can be invaluable. In a society that often encourages mothers to sweep birth trauma, distress, or disappointment under the rug and 'get on with it', having your concerns and feelings truly heard and acknowledged is a validating and healing experience for many women. A birth debrief is not a mental health service or therapy, but rather a first step on the road to recovery, so that you can get the support and closure you need to find peace and move forward.

Together, we can do some guided reflection or journal prompts to help you identify the main concerns or points of distress that are coming up for you, and how you might want to address them.
